Cabin Fever

When: October 13th

Where: Shaver Lake & Florence Lake

Willing adventurers: Me, Ryland, Robert, Sam.

Unwilling adventurers: Marc

Had a great time with my friends up in Shaver Lake. Robert took us to Florence Lake and we ate lunch and walked the dry lake bed to the water. Then we stopped in the dreamiest meadow. It was out of a movie. Perfection. In the middle it was marshy with tiny frogs everywhere. We stopped to take pictures pretty much every chance we got. Wish I could have a little cottage tucked into the tree line, but it would be covered in snow.

Spending time with people away from home base is always fun and reinvigorating. Constantly thankful for friends and family.
